Dr. 托马斯·圣. 乔治

Prior to arriving at Carroll University in the Fall of 2014, Dr. St. 乔治 received his masters in mathematical sciences from the University of West Florida in Spring of 2009, interned as an applied mathematician in the Power Systems division at UTC Aerospace systems in the Summer of 2012, received his doctorate in mathematical sciences at Northern Illinois University as well as obtained a one year visiting professorship at St. Olaf College in the Fall of 2013. Since joining Carroll’s faculty, he has taught a wide variety of applied mathematics and actuarial courses at Carroll as well as mentored student research. In his free time, Dr. St. 乔治 enjoys spending time with his family at their cottage in northern Wisconsin, 飞蝇钓, and downhill skiing.

Dr. St. 乔治’s teaching style in卷ves both lecture-based and active learning. He believe it is important to give the students a chance to work hands-on with mathematics in an environment where they can get their questions answered in a timely manner.
